The 46th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Experimental Psychology
The 46th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Experimental Psychology was held in Wellington, New Zealand this year, and our lab had the honour of presenting multiple streams of research to our Australasian peers. Deanne Green, Ella Moeck, and Taylor Swain presented talks in paper sessions, and Victoria Bridgland presented a poster in the “better poster” format. Melanie Takarangi attended to support her students and to learn about research being done in our region. This conference was a great opportunity to share our work, convene with colleagues, and make new connections.
Ella Moeck had the opportunity to present her current work with Melanie Takarangi and Lucy Matson at the Forum Meeting: Emerging research in cognition, emotion, and motivation. Her talk entitled “Disgust: A ‘sticky’ emotion (Moeck & Takarangi)” received positive feedback and helpful ideas going forward with this line of research.
