Victoria Bridgland

Victoria is commencing the fourth year a of a research PhD. Victoria’s research interests include expectancy effects, emotional regulation, and memory for traumatic events. She is currently investigating trigger warnings, and what benefit – if any – they have for people encountering negative material. Victoria currently serves as secretary/treasurer on the Student Caucus Executive board for the Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognition. In 2019 Victoria won a South Australian Postgraduate Fulbright Scholarship. For her Scholarship, Victoria will work in Professor Richard McNally’s laboratory at Harvard University, with a focus on Trigger Warnings and social media
