I completed my Honours year in the Forensic and Clinical Cognition Lab in 2018. My Honours thesis aimed to investigate how Trigger Warnings influence the ways that people prepare to encounter trauma-related content. Specifically, we investigated (1) what coping and emotion regulation strategies people are prompted to use when they receive a warning, and (2) whether these strategies are better, worse, or even different at all from strategies people use when coming across trauma-related content unaware. I am currently undertaking a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at University of Adelaide. Outside of my studies, I am a Harry Potter enthusiast, lover of animals and advocate of frequent snacking.
