Sarah joins the Forensic and Cognition Lab this year (2026) to undertake her Honours research under Melanie Takarangi. Sarah will be contributing to broader work within the lab which investigates how people experience exposure to secondary traumatisation (e.g., post traumatic stress after hearing about a loved one’s assault). Sarah’s focus is on measuring participant reactions to a novel secondary traumatisation paradigm, within controlled research contexts. Through this work, Sarah seeks to balance scientific advancement with care for participant safety.
