3 Minute Thesis

Ella Moeck recently competed in the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition semi-finals at Flinders University. The 3 Minute Thesis Competition sees Flinders University PhD students condense their research project into a 180 second presentation and compete with peers across university disciplines. Ella competed against students from all of the university’s colleges, and was the only representative of the College of Education, Psychology, and Social Work.

Ella Moeck presented her 3MT entitled: “Is it all-right when emotion blinds?” Flinders University PhD students are invited to compete in the competition to promote their research, develop their communication skills, boost their career prospects and be in the running to win the 2018 Asia-Pacific 3MT prize of a $5,000 research travel grant.

Flinders University students and staff, and members of the public are encouraged to attend the competition heats and finals, and support Flinders University students and their ground-breaking research. The 3MT Final will be held on Friday 31 August, 2:30pm in HSLTC 1.01.
